Re: Finding Lost Treasures – Ninja’s and Dangerous Girls Edition

Some people collect coins, others stamps. I collect video games.

PlayStation One games are probably the easiest thing for me to collect right now. While I would love to begin buying old 8 and 16-bit cartridge games such as Mario and the Seven Stars, Star Tropics or the original Streets of Rage collection, I sadly wouldn’t have anything to play them on. The back connection where you insert the power adapter for my SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) broke about a year and a half after I originally had it and my original Nintendo was lost years ago. I have heard of third party systems that play multiple series, or generations of games in one machine, but I am always cautious about them. For the relatively somewhat cheap prices they sell for sometimes, I wonder exactly how much of that money is actually put towards quality. But I’ve been really wanting to play some of those old classics again.

In my last entry I mentioned that I picked up a Sony PlayStation 2 that I had to make a bit of a special trip for. Still sealed and unopened, which some people were selling close to over two-hundred dollars and more on eBay, I purchased it at the retailers price of $99.99. And this would actually come in handy because it seems that now according to my brother, the opened slim PS2 is now experiencing, shall we say “technical difficulties”. Plus it’ll also help me play a few games I picked up earlier in the year. So for this next entry, I’m going to need to go into the past. Not that far, but to the beginning of 2012 at least.

Sony Pulse Wireless Headset Review

Sony has continued their trend with the releasing a brand new headset in the Sony Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset. While last year’s model of the PlayStation Wireless Stereo Headset is available with the MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) of $99.99 and its impressive features, some could wonder what would justify the additional fifty dollars added to the price tag (MSRP $149.99) or simply upgrade to get the new model just released. Well, looks can be deceiving because with its new features, this new model serves as a better version of what was released a year ago.

Most everyone likes a good scary story. It gets the blood pumping and at rare times gives you that rush of adrenaline that you need once in a while to make you feel alive. Or make you glad that you are alive.
